It must be in the air; everyone seems to be talking about how, "back when..." and all that fun stuff. Strangely enough, I've been bored over the last few days - curious, eh - and I've managed to look back at some of the things I've written or done in the last few years. And boy, have times changed.
Back in grade 12, I definitely did not see things the way I see them now; at least not to this degree. And when I compare things back then to things now, it's like I had just finished off book one, and am currently in the prologue of the second book. It's crazy how much things can progress in the span of a few months, let alone a couple years. I kind of think back and want to go back, because the feelings and memories that stick with me are the good ones, as well as the situations where I wish I could've made the "other" choice. But I think the whole point of making the choice that I did was so that it would put me where I am now.
In other news, as much as we need it, I don't see any legitimate reason for there to be the 'Blizzard of Oz' when it is almost June. I've said it many times, and I'll say it again, we're all gonna get screwed by global warming in less than fifty years. It ruined my dreams of being able to go outside to kick a soccer ball around. Hopefully the ground can dry up in the next couple days so I can raise my heartrate by a few beats per minute. There is something about the need to get into better physical condition that has caught quite a few people's attention; I love it.
