Five Stages Of...

Honestly speaking, I have not felt this sick in years. I rarely get sick, and even when I do, or begin to, it's gone within a couple days - max. So, it definitely feels strange and very crummy. I went to bed on Saturday night, and when I woke up on Sunday morning, my throat was burning in pain. This was probably the sore-est of throats I've ever experienced in my life. And I thought that it was so weird, how it just suddenly came with no warning. Then, on Sunday night, I started to feel the sick really come on. I woke up on Monday morning, and my sore throat was mostly gone, but I had the massive-est of massive headaches. I could hardly look at a screen for more than five minutes without my brain throbbing. So, on Monday, I mostly just slept the day away, which doesn't seem to be so bad. Then I woke up on Tuesday, thinking it was Monday, but then realized, and thought to myself: what, it's Tuesday!?

So it seemed that the worst had already come by and I'm on my way to full recovery in a couple days. Then after lunch, my nose started to run, and then I knew this was gonna be bad. If anyone has bad Spring allergies, or have had a decent concussion in their life, they would know what it's like to have every-what-kind-of breathing tube, or nazel pathways, or whatever, and having it all plugged up and itchy kind of feeling. I do have Spring allergies, and have had a concussion before, so it just felt like that; and it didn't feel very nice. Then, most people would know, that once you have a bad runny nose, the coughing comes next. So I wake up Wednesday morning, and there it is; coughing my lungs out before I'm even awake for an hour. And it's the dry cough. So I'm coughing all day, and it gets worse and worse throughout the day.

And finally, I wake up today, five days since my sore throat hit, and realize that I have not been this sick in years. I am definitely feeling better, but I'm at that stage where your body is just trying to get the rest of everything else out. So, to put it in a way, I have a bit of everything. Yep, I must admit that this was a fun experience to see a different symptom everyday with this little virus inside me. I haven't been sleeping well since I stopped working, so I blame everything on that!

And on a different note, I came to realize that even though it's so hard to see that I'm moving away for school, I think it's about time that I go in this direction for where I am in life.

*cough*cough* Yeah, I just typed out my coughs... all phlegmy and stuff. Haha. But I think this Montreal team is definitely showing signs of the 2005-2006 Edmonton Oilers. But they still got nothing on Jordan Eberle, whom I expect to see in the weaksauce Canada lineup tomorrow.
