And Then It Goes Back

When was the last time you saw something that made you think, "HEY! I used to play/watch/use/etc this! It used to be so cool... What the heck, did I seriously like this before?!" I can attest to this in the part of some old school cartoons I saw on Teletoon Retro a couple days back when I was flipping through the tele.

However, there are also those things that you are reminded of the good old days; except, the second you try it, you're hooked onto it again like you were years before. I went out and bought myself a Nintento DS lite; yes, I did. The purpose that I bought it was because I thought the new Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver version was worth getting - or at least I was told it was worth it.

So, last week, I drove out in the rain to Zellers and bought myself a DS along with the Pokemon SoulSilver version. After waiting for some jerk to unblock my car from the parking lot, I finally realized how ridiculous and how stupid I was to have bought 150 bucks worth of stuff that I used to like. But to prevent myself from looking like a retard by going back in to return it only moments after having bought it, I sucked it up like a man and drove the rest of the way home.

When I got home, I thought to myself, "oh man, how long is it going to take before I get bored of this and have wasted 150 dollars of Bible College money?" Except, I got hooked. Again. I even went out of my way to beat Final Fantasy 13 without sticking to my goal of getting every prostar equipment just so I could turn my focus into becoming the Pokemon master that I once was... ten years ago.

Yep, I'm a noob. But I think you should get the game too, so I can trade with you!
