Where Did Hall the Time Go?

Yeah, that's a lame pun, but it was very tempting. I called it, and I was right on the Oilers drafting Taylor Hall. I have not been so excited for the Oilers since... I don't know the last time I was so excited. But honestly, I think the Oilers have a very bright future; with the addition of a few more role players, I think we can be contending for a top spot in the conference in a year or two.

Anyways, enough of the hockey talk. I looked at the calender a couple days ago, and I saw that June is almost over. I thought to myself, "what the heck?!" How in the world did this month go by so fast. In relation to my blogging, I take a look over at how many posts I have this month, and it's about 50% less than my average posts per month. As I am winding down right now - although it's strange to see the need to wind down when I never really wound up - I can kind of take a look at what's hit me in the last week or so.

I received the whole registration package thing for me to pay fees and pick courses for September, and everything seems kind of overwhelming. When I look at it as a whole, it seems that there is so much I have to keep track of for my degree. I sometimes wonder if doing this will be the death of me. Haha. But in all seriousness, I think it should be an interesting challenge. All of a sudden, I discovered that there are people that help you do things; well, maybe not do things for you, but help make things easier by giving advice and all that. I know! Who would've known that there are people that help you? I don't have to do things by myself anymore, although that's what I've been taught as a kid - that you get what you earn - and something that I've come to realize as I've grown through life. Everything that I have today, I've had to earn, to some degree. And although this is true to an extent, I've realized that nothing can prevent me from asking for help.

Yes, there is some exaggeration there; and I am not someone that literally does everything by myself, but it sure helps to know that people care and want to help. I am glad and thankful for everything I have, and everyone that has helped me somewhere along my life, so I definitely hope to do my best to repay, or at least show gratitude, to those that have cared enough to stop and wait for me to catch up.

Anyways, even though I've been so incredibly bored over the last while, some exciting things have been happening. The World Cup is a mess. Taylor Hall is sexy. Summer camp is fast approaching. And I realized how much I love playing soccer... again. Free Agency period will also begin soon, but I think I am the only person that cares about that. I think I've forgotten some other things that I'll remember later, but that's okay.

Here comes July. Wait. What? Where's June going?

Did you just say "Taylor Hall is sexy"? o.O Wow, and I thought your pun was bad... haha :P

Anyways, all the best with Ambrose. The school I mean. haha. All that paperwork and dealing with administrative stuff isn't fun, and they're not very organized/efficient.. but you'll get the hang of things. Calgary's a nice place! I'm sure we'll visit :) Are you going to be living in Res? I hope you're not stuck on the smelly floor! Enjoy the rest of summer while it lasts :)

Hahaha Joyce and her Ambrose comment! I told Phil the other day they should have gone with Tyler cause he is better looking than Taylor! But I stand corrected if you think that guy is sexy! Have fun at school. I know you're going to love it!
