I See You

When you are after a certain profession, whenever you come across a real life experience in the environment of that profession, I kind of wonder how many people try to picture themselves in that exact position of the person that is doing what they hope to do; I think quite a bit of people do that. If people don't try to picture themselves doing their job, I'm going to guess that they either lack perspective, or what they're after isn't what they want to do.

So, recently, I've been trying to picture myself doing what I want to do in about six or seven years. It's pretty surreal, if you ask me. This all sparked out when I was reading up on my daily Taylor Hall versus Tyler Seguin news. Tyler Seguin, a while back, said that he went to an Edmonton and Detroit game. He sat behind the Oilers' bench and tried to picture himself out there as an Oiler and where he would fit in and all that fun stuff. I thought that it was so cool of him, then I realized that I'm older than Seguin.

Anyways, I think this is totally relate-able because whether you want to be a teacher, a construction worker, pharmacist, musician, getting married, or whatever else, when you get close to that stage, you start to imagine. I think it's pretty cool, and can definitely use as motivation, because as you may or may not know, I'm a lazy person. Haha.

Also, I've received and unofficial notice that I've been accepted into Ambrose earlier this week. They told me to expect the letter in the next week or so. It's pretty exciting now because I'll get to plan out my next few years with school, and try to see how long it takes for me to finish. And yes, some of you might be thinking, "WHAT! You haven't been accepted yet?!?!?!" Yes, if I've been accepted already, I wouldn't be saying this. I was a little slow on completing the application due to a couple things, but it's done.

Happy almost Father's day! It will be an awesome weekend and next week.
