Standstill

Well my friends, the time has come - to raise the roof and have some fun. Someone please wake me up, because it cannot possibly be 2010; Christmas hasn't even arrived yet, how could it be the new year?

Seriously though, there is no way that the new year has come and gone so fast. I remember last year, when I sat on my couch with my laptop on my lap (duh), and the TV turned to Global Television, and had myself all prepared for the clock to strike midnight; it was, truly, a sweet experience that still feels kind of surreal to me. This year though, it didn't even hit me that the new year was arriving so fast. Once again, I had to work New Year's Eve, which kind of sucked, but today was an awesome day of rest.

So, with all that gibberish being said, I want to wish everyone a very blissed and blessed year of 2010. This year is going to be very hectic, I can see it already.

I'm not going to try with "resolutions" or "goals" or anything like that, because, like I said earlier, this year's going to be different. Good or bad difference? I don't know, that remains to be seen.

Okay, I lied, I'm going to have a goal - at least for the short term. And that goal is to be able to wind down myself at least once a week completely to the point where I'm daydreaming so bad that it feels like I'm stoned. What that means, I have absolutely no idea. But, yeah I did.

I no longer know where this blog post is going, so I think I'm just going to end it there. If you can read between the lines, it kind of tells you what I've been going through this holiday season. Life has been pretty much at a stand still for me, and I can't get out of it. It's tough because the way the world works, once you receive a certain calling, and you're sure that it's the Big G calling, you're gonna get attacked; it's just the way things work, and there's not much you can do but have faith. So, hopefully that's what I can keep, and I won't stray too far from the sidewalk. Yep, that'll do.

Happy 2010. Go Canada! Jordan Eberle for the win.
